Improving Lives On and Off the Field

Jefferson has a proud and long tradition of athletic excellence. Home to 17 NCAA Division II intercollegiate sports teams, numerous intramural sports, and a wide array of recreational activities—we provide student athletes with a wide range of opportunities to participate in challenging and competitive athletic programs.

Our ultimate goal is to enrich our students’ college experience while preparing them for full and rewarding lives after graduation. All of our athletic programs are designed to enhance both physical and emotional health, with a strong emphasis placed on academic success. Jefferson Athletics aims to teach every student-athlete invaluable life skills, such as communication, conflict mediation, goal setting, problem-solving, teamwork, mentorship, and much more.

A gift to our athletic program helps transform young athletes into worldly professionals, equipping them with the fundamental skills needed to thrive in their post-college ventures.
