Pancreas, Biliary and Related Cancer Center

Who We Are:

The Jefferson Pancreas, Biliary and Related Cancer Center offers a multi-disciplinary approach to the diagnosis and treatment of patients with these difficult-to-treat cancers. With a renowned team of surgeons performing more than 200 pancreas resections annually, Jefferson is the regional and international destination for pancreatic cancer care.

The pancreas team at Jefferson is committed to patient education and quality-of-life considerations with the annual Pancreatic Cancer Symposium and the Jefferson Pancreas Tumor Registry, looking at family history and environmental risk factors.

Why We Need Your Support:

Your gift today to the Pancreas, Biliary, and Related Cancer Center will provide essential support for:

  • A high-volume pancreas center that is robust, translational, and clinical research.

  • Our researchers’ ability to develop innovative strategies to personalize therapy and to better understand how pancreatic cancers develop resistance to standard chemotherapies.

  • Our evaluation of drugs that can target specific gene mutations, and hope to move our findings to clinical trial within the year.
