As we are now one Jefferson Family, the Kennedy Health Care Foundation has changed its name to the Jefferson Health Foundation – New Jersey. For more than five years, the Foundation has provided resources to support various projects, programs and services that meet the growing and changing needs of Jefferson Health New Jersey and the entire South Jersey community. All philanthropic contributions to the Foundation stay in New Jersey and support our community.

General Patient Assistance Fund: Dedicated to helping underinsured patients who are unable to afford out of pocket expenses. It helps patients acquire adaptive equipment, personal products, and transportation, and affords them care—despite limited insurance coverage or financial means.

Nursing Scholarship Fund: Pursuing a higher level of education changes lives and careers, however, advanced degrees are not always affordable. The Jefferson Health New Jersey Department of Nursing Scholarship Fund helps associates pursue nursing degrees and advance their educational status through financial grants.

Employee Emergency Financial Assistance Fund: Offers aid to employees experiencing unexpected hardships, and provides help in catastrophic situations, such as the loss of a home in a fire, the sudden death of a spouse, or overwhelming medical bills. The fund, established to relieve colleagues of their financial burden, allows us to support each other during difficult times so that we can serve the communities that depend on us.
